The Domaine de la Vougeraie was created at the dawn of the third millennium.
It is a family-owned estate that is small in size yet big in presence, located between the Côte de Nuits and the Côte de Beaune.
The Domaine de La Vougeraie story begins in the vineyard and continues in the cellar, and long after, in the pleasure of tasting. Like us, our wines are whole, deep, and cheerful, direct yet complex; in a word, true.

Working the soil, ensuring low yields, producing concentrated grapes that are, above all, handled with extreme gentleness from their birth to their metamorphosis, hand-crafted vinification and maturation for each plot – all of this helps ensure a style that is all about elegance and a definition of terroir that is ever-more precise.
Our working philosophy
Biodynamics
The idea of biodynamics is to encourage life; primarily in the soil where the vine puts down its roots and where everything begins. It’s about multiplying the richness of the micro-fauna and flora that breaks down the organic and mineral elements in the soil to make them assimilable by the plant. It’s about ensuring vigorous and healthy vines that are more resistant to diseases with grapes that bear the imprint of the soil or the terroir, to bring it out all its glory, translated through the wine.
