2021 was the first harvest and the first vintage of our new monopole, Le Clos de la Chapelle! While the white wine is quite natural and more well-known, here is the Pinot Noir version. Almost one hectare of red out of 4.5 of Chassage-Montrachet Premier Cru Morgeot, inspired by the Cistercian abbey built here in the early 12^th century!

Facing south-east, the rows of our finest and largest vineyard are mainly planted north-south. It was harvested on 25 September, on a fruit day of the lunar calendar, reinforcing its fruity notes.

It has the personality of a red that excels on white terroir, giving it true originality. The meticulous 14-month ageing in barrels, some made from Cîteaux wood, highlights its exquisite finesse.


This site, chosen by Cistercian monks and surrounded by magnificently renovated stone walls, represents an inspired, timeless clos and a vineyard worthy of respect. A wine with a powerful history that continues to this day.
