After the winter and our harvests, we applied a dose of
preparation 500 to invigorate the soils and roots.
This is the perfect time to till the soils, which are still
warm and absorb the nutrients from the horn manure
– the founding preparation of biodynamic cultivation –
sprayed throughout the vineyards.
Then comes the winter, an important stage in the vine’s
life cycle as it allows it to rest, and good preparations
have a major impact on its future. For example,
this is a good time to maintain tools such as stakes,
which we replaced in Vougeot in particular
for some of the Prieuré vines.
